Woodford Police News Update
7/08/2011 Stealing Woodford transfer Station
On Tuesday evening early hours of Wednesday morning unknown offender/s have driven around two bollards and cut a hole in the fence line, at the Woodford Transfer Station. The offender/s have then approached a container area and have offloaded 80 batteries. No buildings were entered and no other property appears to be stolen. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage with a view to identifying the vehicle used. Anyone with information please contact crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
18/08/2011 Drug charges Woodford correctional Centre
On Thursday police attended the Woodford Correctional Centre and assisted Correctional staff with the detention and search of a 32-year-old female visitor from Gales. Police located the female in possession of two pills and the female has been charged under the corrective services act.
20/08/2011 Drug – Possess things for use, or used
In the early hours of Saturday morning police were called to a noise complaint in Gloucester Street, Woodford. Police will allege that the music was so loud that the police could not be heard knocking and when they entered a male person 23 years of age from Woodford was found in possession of a water pipe. Investigations are continuing – the music was turned off.
