Storm /Flood Emergency assistance
- National SES Hotline 132 500
- ABC Radio 612AM or Local Community radio stations 101.5FM and 99.7FM broadcast vital community information during an emergency
The SES support the statutory services (Police, Fire and Ambulance) where an emergency or disaster is beyond the resources of those services.
Do NOT call SES for the following:
- Life Threatening Emergencies (ring 000)
- Animal emergencies
- Road closures. Most recent road closure report. Contact the council.
- Power or phone outages
Emergency assistance
- SES Local Controller phone: 132 500 or your local police station (Woodford Police – 5496 1202)
- Road closures are displayed on Council’s website which is hard to access so I have posted it here. road closure report
- Regional radio stations 101.5 FM, 99.7FM and ABC 612AM broadcast vital community information during an emergency
