Stanley Rivers Rugby League Under 15′s win the Grand Final

16 September 2011 No Comment

In the Grand Final at Maroochydore Stanley Rivers Junior Under 15′s Rugby League team thrashed Beerwah Bulldogs 32-0.  Stanley Rivers played brilliantly, working together as one united force.  They fiercely defended their own territory, showing great technique and not allowing the Bulldogs to score throughout the game.

Coach, Tim Lapfthorne, did a fantastic job with the boys, keeping them fit and instilling a fighting spirit.  Each team member marked their territory and the team was unstoppable.

Under 15's

Well done boys, you did a great job.
Under 12′s played their Grand Final against Kawana, going down in the last 5 minutes of the game and losing 18-14.  The game could have gone either way, a real nail bitter!  It was a spectacular game to watch, and they could certainly hold their heads high, as they played with everything they had.  Coach, Brad Davis, was very proud of his team. A great season for all the teams, and I can’t wait for next year, as Stanley Rivers has such a lot of talent and there are exciting times ahead.
