Applications have opened for funding from the Australian Government for tools, new activities and more local workspaces under the men’s sheds program, Senator for Queensland Mark Furner said.
“Up to $10,000 in federal support is available to men’s sheds in our region – and I encourage them to apply under the Government’s latest funding round,” Senator Furner said.
Applications close on May 25.
There are more than 700 men’s sheds in Australia, with more than 55,000 members. Facilitated locally by a number of organisations, the sheds provide tools and space primarily for men …

The Junior Primary sandpit, added just 12 months ago, now boasts a huge shade sail, to protect children from the elements – for when the sun starts shining again!

This crash occurred on Loveday Road, Mt Mee. The Road wines through the D’Aguilar State Forrest and is maintained and kept by National Parks and Wildlife. The road is not a gazetted road however is signed as 40km/h speed zone. The driver of unit 1 was travelling from the Mt Mee end towards Neurum, she was travelling down a slight grade when she has lost control of her vehicle and has collided with the embankment on the right hand side.
