Crime stoppers Caboolture Committee was at the Woodford Show on the 24th and 25th of June and was given a warm welcome by the community. They had a very wide array of community members from around Queensland in attendance.
Crime Stoppers also had a wide range of information flyers for the community, to help explain their role and pour role in becoming a crime stopper.

Our Woodford Show is turning 100 years old. Can you believe it?
This is a huge cause for celebration and this year’s show is proving to bigger than it has ever been before!  The show’s organisers have lined up double the entertainment, more fireworks, a Rodeo on both days, and loads of extra fun. There will be colourful clowns, balloons,  face painting, sheep shearing, Camp Oven Cooking, and more…

Paige Dumble is a remarkable young woman, who is striving ahead in all areas of her life.  Paige has been selected to compete at Sydney Royal over the Easter period.  She is one of 20 riders Australia wide to be picked.
The horse competitions are among the most exciting events at the Royal Sydney Easter Show, and they attract some of the largest audiences.  The Sydney Royal is also one of Australia’s largest showjumping events. The Woodford Show is definitely a family affair and it is a traditional “must go” outing that is enjoyed by all ages. This year the show was very nearly canceled, however ended up running smoothly, in country style, and without a noticeable hitch.
It is impossible to count the volunteers helping out behind the scenes, and there was not shortage of them either. Even our fellow sister show society in Malaney supplied us with some friendly volunteers to help man the gates.
