Deb from Woodford Newspaper went along to Morayfield shopping centre to see how Ian Gillespie went today. He was bravely getting his hair shaved off to raise money for the leukaemia foundation’s World’s greatest shave 2010. Ian is bald now but he raised good load of money in the process.

We all wanted the rain and we sure got some, maybe a little too much. Woodford and its surrounding areas are lucky that it isn’t getting as much rain as the Sunshine Coast as all our are creeks are already full.
So far we have got off lightly with only Neurum Creek and Kilcoy roads flooding, forcing the closure of Kilcoy High School.
Woodford, Delaneys Creek, Mt Mee and Wamuran schools managed to stay open with creeks around the area just reaching capacity but thankfully not overflowing. Nervous parents sent their children hoping that they would be …
