By law, Telstra must provide a FREE directory assistance number and they do have one, however it is not well advertised. Unfortunately the directory assistance number, 12456 is highly advertised and has charges attached to it. Now Senis, which is a subsidiary of Telstra has taken over with a new number, again highly advertised, 1234.

There has been lengthy discussions about this subject over the years but nothing has happened. At the moment you can send your child to Woodford High School for years 8-10. After that you have to move your child to a new school to finish their education.
