Fire started in the Laundromat and spread to IGA in Woodford

I heard the fire siren from my home  around 7.30 – 8am on Thursday morning, 28 April.  By the time I dropped off my children at school, the word had spread that there was a huge fire at the IGA building.
As the day wore on, more information had spread that the fire had started at the Woodford Laudromat, the second fire this year.  The first fire had started from some towels from the Woodford Massage Shop that had been put in the dryer and …

Woodford’s DVD shop and Gold’s Grocery store closing down

LJ Hooker and Gold Real Estate have closed the doors of their adjoining businesses.  LJ Hooker closed the DVD Rental Shop.  Tim Weiss, the owner, made the decision as rivalry from internet rentals and free TV, brought business to a standstill.  Tim’s intention is to renovate and modernize LJ Hooker and, as he expands, increase his staff.  He has just hired a new Property and Sales Manager.
Woodford will miss the DVD Shop.  It was the perfect place to go when it was raining or …

The Woman behind Woodford Wellbing Expo

Angela Morgan set up the Creating Health Well Being Centre about four or five years ago.  She practiced Bowen Therapy and Massage.  When the house behind her little shop became available she decided to join them both together to create more comfort and a bigger centre.
Helen Sattler then approached Angela offering her services, which entailed the Raindrop Technique.  This technique involves energetic body balancing where essential oils are dropped along the spine and feathered out.  As the essential oils are a 100% this produces synergy energy which removes blockages and pain.  After the pampering treatment you will …
