Colinton grazier John Westaway is a ‘computer convert’ and says property mapping will make a big difference to the way he manages his cattle business.
Mr Westaway is just one of 15 producers who took their use of farm computers to a new level last week at AgForce Projects property mapping workshop in Kilcoy and Esk.

The joy of dancing lives on in Kilcoy. There was lots of fun at Mount Kilcoy Hall on Saturday, 9 April when 40 men and women had a night to remember. Technic Tones set the mood with their foot tapping music for all to enjoy and where friends can get together and show off their dancing skills.

The Mount Kilcoy Dance group have begun their dances for the year 2011. A BIG Benefit Dance will be held at the Kilcoy Memorial Hall on Friday 29th April and the well known dance band “The Soul Mates” will be playing for the night. Everyone is welcome to come along to dance the night away. $7 entry fee, and raffles, lucky door prizes and the lovely never to forget country supper will be provided. Old time dancing with some New Vogue as well.

The Mount Kilcoy Dance Group Charity Dance was well patronised by 70 local and visiting dancers. It was the last Benefit Dance to be held by the group for the year 2010. The Memorial Hall floor was the best it has been and held the dancers on the floor all evening enjoying the music played by “The Soul Mates”. The Mount Kilcoy Dance Group are holding a Charity Dance this Friday 29th October in the Kilcoy Memorial Hall. Dance begins at 8pm till midnight.
