On Friday 21 May Delaneys Creek Students were given a special treat from Woolworths.  Anthony Gould the Manager of Woodford Woolworths, and his staff  Gemma Brady and Natalie Stubbings, brought  loads of fresh fruit from the fresh food people.  Bananas, apples, mandarins and grapes were all cut up for the children to eat for their fruit break.  There was excitement all around as each child stood in line to get the fruit.  Huge grins across their faces showed how much they enjoyed eating the fruit.  Many went up for seconds and thirds.  The …

We all know Woodford is preparing for the opening of a new Woolworths supermarket and I suspect we all know of someone that is hoping to get a job there. I personally know of four people who have applied for jobs at Woolworths and three of these people have been accepted as Woolworths employees.  This is great news for them because when I asked about the process of applying for a job at Woolworths it seemed like a long and drawn out process.
