Maria and Keith McKenzie have owned the Bed and Breakfast for 9 years which is just off the D’Aguilar highway at D’Aguilar.
As there are many festivals happening in Woodford through out the year and not much accommodation in Woodford for these people coming to them, Maria is always flat out around these times. The B&B is already booked for the Woodford Festivals, Splendour in the grass and soon will be for the Dreaming Festival . She said a couple months before the Dreaming festival the aboriginal association rings up and books all the beds up. So it’s a little gold mine for anyone wishing to run a B&B. It has been well established and it is also a great community to live in.

The D’Aguilar Hotel, as it is commonly known, has had a long history, commencing originally at Paddy’s Pinch, situated at the foot of the D’Aguilar Range. It was originally called the “Bushman’s Arms” with William Tracey as the first licensee.
In those early days, the Bushman’s Arms was a popular stopover for coach travellers before the hazardous journey up the big hill to Woodford or Kilcoy.

One hundred years of history,
This day shall now unfold.
A hundred years of memories,
Names of young and old.
Names of absent students,
Those who died in the war,
Names of boys, and little girls.
Forgotten…..live once more…..
Many have succeeded,
Many passed away,
Many are school mates,
Remembered on this day,
For once we were a family,
And here, did all reside….
Delaney’s Creek and D’Aguilar,
We, honour thee….with pride.
